Well, at first we were quite excited to buy our Oyster cards – scanning into the London Underground seemed so easy. However, it seems that we were meant to rescan when we transferred to the DLR, a mistake that seems to have cost us all our remaining credit. And maybe some besides.
The cards came with no instructions – not even that you have to scan out at the end of the journey as well as the start. So this seems a little unfair.
Oh well, it’s a learning curve.
