The Little Picasso cushion

Although I’ve got a sewing machine and I can and do sew (and, in fact, once made a large bright red ball gown for our Uni ball), I don’t do a lot of it. Once in a while, though, I see something that makes me wish I did more.

One such thing is the Little Picasso cushion that my friend, the very lovely Claire (AKA Mrs Bee), is selling in her Folksy store.

I just love these. Each cushion is hand made and taken from a piece of child’s art. Claire carefully reproduces the drawing in embroidery silk, then backs each cushion with co-ordinating fabrics and trims.

The result is fantastic, isn’t it?
